I will start off by saying this in the most basic manner I know how… Black on black crime does not exist. Now I know many people have been conditioned to believe this assertion to be false but they’re wrong. Now before I continue, let me make this clear, there does exist crime in the black community. Yes you will find situations where black people are committing crimes towards other black people but this does not simply exist in our race. This is something I have noticed that many people overlook.
Whenever there is news of a tragic death of a black person in America by a race other than their own, the black community mourns and raises concerns of a growing and ongoing issue, and rightfully so. Oddly enough, there is another strange thing that happens when these tragic situations occur. Amidst all the “RIP statuses” and Avi changes, you see some statuses and comments about how “black on black crime happens and we don’t care but we get mad when a white person kills us” and some other bull poo that pisses me off to no end. There are so many things wrong with these types of statements and I will focus on some of these. The first being the respectability politics portion.
When I hear someone say that we need to stop “black on black crime” before we can deal with the slaughtering of our people from other races, I hear an idiot being a complete idiot. So what we are to understand, by these people’s statements, is that as long as we do something to ourselves, we cannot be angry if someone else does it to us? I wonder how these black people feel about white people saying the N word to us. I mean, we say it to each other so we can’t be mad at them for saying it to us right? Same logic? I think so. Also, if I hit my brother, as a lot of siblings tend to do as they fight, does that mean a random person on the street can come up and hit him and I shouldn’t be mad simply because I did it? This is what we are to understand? Something seems wrong here. Listen people, no crime justifies another crime. My neighbor being murdered by a neighborhood youth does not make it okay for a person of another race to murder another neighbor. This also goes into the next point I wanted to talk about…
Any logical person will understand that crime happens. This is regardless of location or age range. Little kids in kindergarten will steal crayons from classmates. People who want something that another person has may try to take it. People who are at odds with each other can have a situation that escalates where one unfortunately loses their life. This is all to show examples of how things viewed as crimes happen regardless of where and when. With this being said, people should realize that people generally live in areas where most of the people who live there look like them. If you go to a neighborhood labeled “Little China” what race do you think a majority of the people who live there will be? If you go to a suburban neighborhood surrounded by country clubs and such I am almost positive the majority of the people living there will look the same. Lower income housing areas are also in this discussion. Now with these two things being said I think it’s clear to see what logically follows but for those people who lack common sense I shall help you.
If crime happens regardless of area, and people live around those that look like them, then it stands to reason that crime generally happens to people by people who look like them. Now I know a lot of people will listen to the media and believe that black people tend to commit a helluva lot more crimes against their own but I shall direct you to some facts. The FBI website has data from 2013(2014 and 2015 not available) dealing with crime statistics in America. Now here are some numbers on murders that man should find interesting. The number of white murder victims they have listed is 3005. Of these people victims, the number of white people who were the offender is 2,509. This is 83% of white deaths by white people. Now on that same note, black victims listed are shown to be 2,491 with 2,245 of the offenders being black. This is 90%… These numbers are not that different and they both are extremely sad. The amount of “Other” victims is 159 with 96 of the offenders being “Other”… this is 60%. Now with this showing that statistically, a majority of all murders to a race are from THE SAME RACE, why is it that the media only speaks of the ever present “black on black crime”? Have you ever heard a news outlet reporting on the tragedy that is “white on white crime” or “Indian on Indian crime” or any other races? I haven’t and it bothers me.
The myth of “black on black crime” is that it is some amazingly terrible thing that only exists in our culture. Until this problem is solved we should not even begin to think about raising our voices in displeasure to other races who commit crimes against us. I am not ashamed to say that THIS IS BULLSHIT. Crime is crime and our race is clearly not the only one with this alleged “issue”. I ask you this, if black people started slaughtering white people do you think the news would say “white people need to handle white on white crime first and address those issues before crying about this?” Yeah… think about that.
